Inspiration for this song was how Penny has lived throughout her life, not just during her fight with cancer.

When Penny took us sisters on our weekend away, she talked about what she would do if she could do it all again. She said she would love to sing and would love to travel so she would come back as a singing gypsy then she could do both!

When I got back, I started thinking about her life before and after cancer and the lyrics to the song were born.

Thanks to Ian Magnusson who wrote the melody and did backgrounds and Murray Forbes who not only played every instrument but mixed and produced the track, and the song came alive.
